My system is Arlo Hub VMB4540, 2 Arlo Pro 3 VMC4040P and 2 Arlo Pro 5 VMC4260P.
The cameras are charged with the Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable.

I am generally happy with the camera's performance except I get way too many notifications.
On a windy day I may be getting up to 500 notifications.

I have tried to mute the microphone but haven't made any difference.
I know I can filter notifications, but cameras would still record, I assume.

From my understanding, it seems to be a software issue and not Arlo camera's.

Also, from time to time, the cameras seems to go off-line for no apparent reason.
When I open the app, I have to sign in and can see they are off-line.
A few seconds later they come on-line again, strange.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

If you are using audio detection, then disable that in the camera rules (in the modes you are using).  Microphone mute won't do it.

But the wind doesn't just create noise - it usually results in motion (tree branches, etc).  And the thermals produced by the wind can trigger the PIR (passive infrared) sensor that the camera uses to detect motion.  If you haven't tried tuning the motion threshold, then you should do that.  Use the motion detection test (buried in the default mode settings), and walk around in the area where you want motion detected.  Find the lowest threshold that detects you reliably, and then set the actual threshold to that level (or a bit higher).
