I found this post, but it's closed for replies: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Pro-5S-2K/Pro-5-Camera-Clicking/td-p/1944973

I have 3 Pro 5S cameras. One of them has started the clicking issue. It will start clicking and continue clicking non-stop for hours. Basically until the battery dies. The battery originally lasted 2-3 months based on my usage patterns, and now it lasts a few days at most. Just constantly clicking. After I charge it up and remove the battery to restart it, it will be fine for a few hours, and then randomly start clicking. Even when it's in a mode that should not be detecting motion. Even when I set it in a room facing a wall and have absolutely no light changes or motion for it to detect.

I did a reset twice, it still does it.

What has Arlo done to cause this?

Is this audible clicking from hardware externally, or is this clicking within your recordings?

Hardware in the camera. It seems like its the IR sensor engaging/disengaging, or whatever that process is called. It's the same problem all of those people have in the linked post I included.

But, this camera is basically useless if it just clicks all the time and wears the battery dead very fast.

Is it just me and happens to just be a broken camera? It was great for just over a year... then just started.
