Can I use the Arlo pro 5 without having 2.4ghz wifi at home? I have taken the camara to a friends house who has got 2.4ghz wifi to set it up and it worked fine I thought that when I went home I could also connect it to my 5ghz wifi that I have at my house but it isn't letting me connect just keeps telling me no cameras can be found

The Pro 5s is dual-band, so it doesn't need 2.4 ghz. 

That said, you almost certainly do have 2.4 ghz, as almost all 5 ghz routers are also dual band.  What router model/manufacturer do you have?

There are other problems that can interfere with onboarding.  If you are getting the chime from the camera when you install it, then also check your router's attached device list, and see if the camera is listed there.
