Hi, I have just upgraded my system to this. Have had arlo eq. for about 10 years now. But for one strange reason then it will not record the video onto the local storage card (micro SD card). I have loaded. Arlo app claims it works fine and have formatted it now twice. It has been set to record locally. But it does not ? Have other experienced same problem ? And how to fix ?

Do you see "Library" in your app menu?  Or do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" instead?

 

Have you tried uninstalling the app, and then reinstalling it?

 mine is in Danish. But hope it is selfexplanatory of what I see ?  I have not tried to remove and re install the app. I can try this on both ipad and iphone

You have the new "Feed" interface.

 

Try 

  1. going to the devices page
  2. selecting the base
  3. selecting storage settings

See if there are any local recordings there.

 

On re-installing, I suggest doing that on the iPad for now, and see if it makes any difference.  If it doesn't, then there is no need to reinstall on your phone.

I tried this but without success. I did though notice that on my old camera pro 2 it says it was paired with my system where the other 4 pro 5S cameras were not. And I believe I can set up the mode to record on the pro2 (paired one). But not the others ?

They all 5 worked when I had the free service you get when buying the system. But it stopped when the free service was reached. 
does it make sense that I have to reinstall the cameras ?

It sounds like you connected to Pro 5s cameras to your home wifi.  Local Storage only is available if they are connected ("paired") to the smarthub.

 

It that is the case, you need to remove the Pro 5s cameras from your account and connect to the base.

Ok thanks. I will check it this coming weekend as I am travelling this week. Just wanted to let you know if you wandered why I do not reply the result before.

It works 😁 after I disconnected the cameras and added them individually it now works. Thanks for your help and have a great weekend. Bo
