I would like for my wife to get push notifications when I'm out of town.  Is there a way for her to get them on her phone?

Yes. Use Settings, Grant Access and use her email account to send an invitation. She'll need to install the app to accept the invitation. The one fly in the ointment is that both users will need to use the same user interface - she'll get the new one with Dashboard and Feed so check yours. If you see Library and Mode you'll need to migrate to the new one like hers. We can help with all that but first let us know which UI you have.

An alternative is to use email notifications to her email address. They don't happen until the video is fully uploaded unlike the push notifications so there's a lag.

What is UI and where do I check to see which I have?

On the main App screen.

The old UI has "Library" and "Mode" as menu choices.   The new one has "Feed" and "Dashboard".

Ok, but first thanks for your help.  I have the old Library and mode.  Before we start this, is the new UI just renaming the Library and Mode or does that come with a learning curve with me not recognizing how to negotiate through what I want to do with what was called Mode.  I'm 64 so I'm not as mentally flexible as i use to be. LOL

Did your wife sing the Beatles' "When I'm 64" on your birthday?  🙂 FWIW, I'm 73 and still managed to figure out the new UI.

Migrating to the 4.x UI leads to a new learning curve. Most things are still there but in different places and maybe named differently (Library becomes Feed sort of thing). To many folks, the biggest change is that you only have 3 modes to work with and can no longer create custom modes, if you happen to use those. One thing to note is that the modes are named by Arlo but you can use them as you wish. If you need to, Standby can be used as just another mode. Also, any custom modes don't get transferred over so you need to go through all the modes and set them up as you wish.

Migrating is the only way to share cameras in your case. If you decide to do that, set aside plenty of time to go through the whole interface. Click on every icon and setting so you see what it's for and how things are arranged. Yes, it will take time and be a PITA but sooner or later the migration will take place anyways. You can be ahead of the ball in this case and just get it over with.

It comes with a learning curve - lots of things have been reorganized  It is simplified in some ways - the modes in particular apply to all cameras at each location.  But some features have also been lost.  As far as I can tell, it is still a bit of a work-in-progress, so hopefully those features will be put back in some way.

As @jguerdat says, it's the only way to share your cameras.  Everyone will at some point end up with Feed - the only real question is whether you want to postpone sharing until Arlo addresses at least some of the issues in the new interface.

Ok I have no "custom" modes now.  From what I gather every other setting/mode should migrate over?  Email, push notifications, camera/base station names?  I have 5 older Pro cams and six new Pro 4.  All will migrate over?

If so lets do it.  Let me know when?

The cameras migrate and populate the Armed Away mode (same as the old Armed mode in the 3.x UI). No other modes migrate - you will need to recreate them using only the 3 modes the 4.x UI provides. You can use the Standby mode as you wish if you need to - the name doesn't imply disarming anything.

OK.  Let me know what to do to start the migration, or is it something that is done on the Arlo end?

In other words, let's get rolling before I turn 65 LOL

Go into add device, and try to add a Pro 5s camera.  That will fail (since you don't have one), but the process will result in you getting the "Feed" experience.
