how do you set up a VMB 5000 base station to retrieve videos when far away from the base station

does anyone know how to program or set up the VMB 5000 base station and arlo pro 4 cameras so you can retrieve videos when miles away from the base station ???

It's best to reserve an IP address for the VMB5000 if you go with port forwarding.
