One option is to get the new Pro-5 camera, which can connect to 5 gHz wifi.
To clarify: if you purchase a camera that is 2.4 gHz only (for instance an Essential or a Pro 4), then the camera needs 2.4 gHz to connect to the Arlo cloud - not just for onboarding with your phone. You can purchase an WiFi extender to create a 2.4 gHz network if your router doesn't have that - though Arlo doesn't see them. Note that almost all 5 ghz routers are actually dual band, so you probably don't need to purchase anything.

I do have the pro 4. The problem is my 2g doesn’t show up unless I literally go outside down my driveway. I will go to a Best Buy today and ask about the extender. That’s a good idea
