Hey, this is just a quick solution that I have found to the small and seemingly insufficient mounting hardware that is provided as standard with the Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight camera (and I believe most of the other models come with the same screw).

Obviously due to design of the screw slide on the rear of the mount, you’re limited as to what size and type of screw you can use as the design only allows for something with a small/narrow head to be able to enter the slide.

However, I have found sanding the edges of the head of a 3/16” x 1-3/4” star bit tapcon (I’m sure Phillips head would work just as well) just enough to be able to put the head into the slide sideways. Obviously you can’t use the supplied rectangular little black washer that adds stability to the tiny screw that comes with it, but it is not needed as the core of a tapcop is substantially thicker than the screw provided and there is hardly any play.

I hope this helps somebody out there!
