Do you mean local recording?  Or cloud recording?

 

If you mean cloud recording, have you checked the subscription status?

Hi, Stephen, I am still learning how to reply in this Arlo community site. Before I figured out how to reply, I went ahead to post a new one with more clear description of the issue.  3-month cloud recording has expired. I did not realize the initial set up of the new purchase was connected to Arlo cloud. I set up the local recording yesterday but I don't see any recording so I posted the question but I did not mention local recording. I started suspecting VMB4540 smart hub does not have internal storage capability. I found out about a USB thumb is needed for local recording so I inserted on on the back of the hub and followed the steps on the hub setting to format the thumb drive. It shows ready but when I go to Library, I don't see any record and only get a message saying "There was an error obtaining your library. Arlo team is working on this issue and try again".  How can Arlo team work on this issue of local recording?
