I have 1 Arlo Pro 4 XL installed on the front of the property and the camera is positioned to cover the drive way, front lawn, porch, and side walks in front of home. Because I don't want the camera to pick up and record almost every vehicle that drives by, I have decreased the size of the activity zone to cover the areas I want it to cover. However, I have found that the camera may or may not pick up and start recording when someone's on my front lawn and because of that, I increased the sensitivity of the motion sensor (currently set at 80). This means the camera has been picking up vehicles coming into and going away from the neighborhood but it's still not picking up a person on my lawn (my lawn is by no means large) 100% of the time. I don't mind the camera recording a few vehicles but it's more important for me to have the camera pick up activities ON the property. Any suggestions for correcting this? What is the distance the Pro 4 is able to detect motion from a person or a small group of people? What about for vehicles? Thanks in advance!

20-25 feet.

In my experience, vehicles can be detected at a longer distance, but it does depend on the size (basically the amount of heat).
