This is the worst piece of technology I have ever bought.  I have spent hours fussing with it, reading the Arlo articles, and talking to support but nothing works.  They sent me two new cameras when two of the three in the set failed but they won't connect to the base station.  After dozens of attempts, one finally connected but the local recording didn't work.  After I removed all the devices the base station seemed to install okay but it won't detect any of the three cameras.  I re-started the base station and also reset it.  Hours wasted. Nothing works and I am ready to return it to Costco and buy another brand.

Presumably in response to this message I got a call from Arlo support.  After two conversations lasting at least four hours in total, it appeared that the system was not recognizing my 2.4 Ghz Wifi band. We created a new one and I was then able to set up the cameras to work via the internet but not through the base station.  The very helpful technician is sending me another base station but a couple of hours after we got off the phone  the system stopped recognizing one of the cameras.    I spent more hours trying to reconnect it but was not able to.  And then I put another camera on the  charger but get a message on the app saying that charging is not working.

 

Two of my original cameras failed, the base station failed, and at least one of the replacement cameras  and now the remaining of the original cameras has failed.  Thus, out of six pieces of Arlo equipment, one is working.
