If you connect directly to the wi-fi, without the hub, can you still access and manage the camera when you're not at home on your network? For example, use the ARLO app to manage the camera if you're not at home.

Yes but note without a subscription you won't have cloud recordings.

What options will I have when the Arlo Smart 3-month trial plan ends?
