One of my cameras won’t record.  They’re new and this one just doesn’t

Check your subscription status in Settings, Subscription or Settings, Home, Subscription. The trial subscription may have expired. ALso check your active mode to make sure the camera has a rule to record.

I have tried everything I can think of.  Do you have a support I can call?  These are new and there isn’t any reason one won’t record out of three.  Since they’re new, my trial is still good.

Use Settings, Support (Center) to select your camera. Scroll down to Contacts to talk to official support.

@Tobypia :  Have you tried making a manual recording while livestreaming the camera? If that works, then it rules out a subscription issue.

 

You can also try using the motion detection test for the camera.

I didn’t know you can manually record.  So how do I do that?

And the motion detection worked fine.  Just didn’t record anything.

STart a live view session from the camera (click on the PLAY icon for the camera in Devices) and a record icon (looks like a small target) should show at the bottom of the live view screen.
