I noticed that the entire FOV isn't used when sensing motion on my Pro 4 cameras. The top 1/5th of the sensor is dead to any motion and creates a bit of a blind spot. Is this a hardware limitation?
While the FOV is smaller, my doorbell uses the entire FOV to sense motion.

Motion detection is done by a different passive infrared (PIR) sensor - so not done from the captured video image.
Motion will still be detected at the top of the field of view, but the sensor isn't as sensitive (so detection won't be as reliable).
