This generally is caused when one account is using the "Library" interface, and the other is using "Feed" and "Dashboard".
When these are mismatched, the account that shows "Library" in the app menu needs to migrated to "Feed". You can force that by starting to add a Pro 5s camera to the account. While that process can't be finished without the camera, the workflow will migrate the account to "Feed" before you get stuck.
Once you migrate to "Feed", you cannot migrate back. And there are some issues with "Feed" that you should be aware of:
- There are no custom modes. You can modify the three built-in modes, but you cannot add any more.
- The combination of scheduling and geofencing does not work.
- If your cameras are connected to your home wifi, then you will lose the ability to arm/disarm individidual cameras.
- If you have a subscription and your cameras are in more than one location, then you will need one subscription per location.
Arlo now does support multiple logins to your account, so one alternative is to share the account credentials with the friend.
