Received the other Day a message that Arlo had received a request to Factory reset one of my cameras. Did not come from me. Most likely a reset was made remote by someone, Arlo I guess. The result was that the camera was removed from the App. Since the camera is mounted at my summer house, some 400 km from where I live, its not possible to add it back and activate it.

Anyone experienced something similar?

Sometimes we've seen posts here from other users saying their cameras spontaneously sent this message.

They had to on-board again (which of course is difficult if the cameras are remote).

A reset can obviously be done remote by someone, not checking that the request is valid or automatically.

Hi @Jerry_E

Thank you for the feedback. This is an error that the team is aware of. I will provide another update as soon as possible.

ShayneS,

The error known by the team, really messed it up for me. Being 400 km from the cameras, I am unable to reconnect the device. So the error created a big problem for me.
