All I want to know can I add pro 4 cameras to pro 2 base station

    Yes, the base station for the Pro 2 (VMB4000) is also compatible with the Pro 4. The full list of base station and camera compatibilities is here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062284/What-is-the-difference-between-each-Arlo-SmartHub-and-base-station

     

    You can also use the Pro 4 without any base station and connect it directly to your home Wi-Fi network. If you choose this connection you won't be able to use local storage (saving videos on a USB drive attached to your base station) and you may see a little less battery life on the Pro 4 because Wi-Fi isn't as energy-efficient as the connection between the camera and the Arlo base station.  Also, not connecting through the base station can limit the ability to make the camera part of some smart home services (Apple HomeKit, for example).
