I got a Arlo pro 4 and connected up with no issue.l for indoor use and using supply charging cord provided. . The battery was charged at 36% and tried to charge the battery. It never show that the cord is connected to battery. Try different electrical plug and different USB connector. The camera works good but will charge. Not sure if battery, cord or connection to battery. Brand new so no dirt on it.

Try cleaning both sides of the magnetic connector with isopropyl alcohol. Make sure the camera is fully inserted into the case - no part of the front face of the camera should be seen. If needed, press it in until you hear a click. If still no good, test the USB charger by using a different cable to charge some other device. If that works, it can be the cable or camera. In that case, use Settings, Support to select the camera. Scroll down to Contacts to see what official support tells you.
