Arlo pro 4 not syncing

Trying to sync new ALRO 4 pro. 

QR code and chime work.

Camera and ipad, phone and lap top connected to same 2.4. ghz network. I can see them when i log into the router!!

I can even see the camera has successfully connected to the router!! the blue light stops blinking soon after the chime - about 20 seconds. assuming that means it has sucessfully connected to the network. 

 

but no joy on the camera being found by the app on any of the devices, it must be something simple. or a bug in the app

 

also FYI it tried resetting it quite a few times. still not working.

 

Please help
