I have had 4 Arlo cameras for years and they still worked beautifully up until a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I’ve had to do is replace a couple of batteries. Just recently I got the message that cameras appear to be offline.
Three of them continued to work but I can’t access settings. I deleted the one that isn’t responding and tried to reinstall but that didn’t work. I just had to recharge another one and now it won’t respond. I was grand-fathered in.
What do I need to do? Please help me. Thanks.

It sounds like the LED(s) on your base are showing correct colors - correct? If so, try unplugging the base, wait several seconds and plug it back in. Let the base reboot (~2 minutes) to see if that fixes anything.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, there are 3 green base station lights. I followed your directions and 2 of the 3 connected cameras came back online. I removed the one that didn’t respond and tried to sync to base station. I removed a 4th camera a week or so ago when it quit responding. Now I have 2 cameras working and 2 that won’t sync. Any suggestions for how to reconnect /sync the others? I’ve removed and reinserted the batteries.

What base do you have - the VMB4000? Look on the bottom for a label that has VMBxxxx. There have been several cases of the VMB4000 having issues and this may be one of them.

Hi,
So far, so good with the cameras. Thanks so much for your help ! The only issue is that the camera views are sometimes slow to appear/load in the app. That makes me wonder if it’s a base station issue. Is it possible to purchase a new base station? Are they interchangeable up to a point?

The only new base stations are the SmartHubs - the VMB4540 and Vmb5000. However, the "slow to load/appear" issue has nothing to do with your base since the app is getting all data from the Arlo servers. It could be internet congestion slowing things down or the server response itself.
