Seeking help & advice for an unresponsive Pro 4 (model VMC4041P srl A9V71B7RA0360). Firmware 1.080.22.3_56_e704b23.

This camera is one of three identical Pro 4’s I have been using successfully at home for a while with no problems. One camera went offline having been connected to my home WiFi router previously with no problems. I recharged the battery (which I thought might have reduced to a critically low level and I hadn’t noticed) but when recharged the Arlo Secure app continued to say that the device wasn’t connected. I’ve followed all the online support guidance and tried to reconnect, but with no success. I removed the device on Arlo Secure and attempted to reinstall it, but it will not scan the QR code, which I have tried numerous times. It did chime once but then Arlo Secure could not find the device. It will now not scan any QR code at all. The camera also will not respond to the factory reset. I followed the instructions for the reset, pressing the reset button for the prescribed time, but there was no blue LED to indicate the reset was successful.

When the battery is installed, there is a blue LED light. When the device is placed in the housing, the blue LED flashes as expected but then will not scan the QR code.

The camera has gone from working fine to being completely unresponsive. The WiFi is working perfectly well with two other Pro 4 cameras, just not this one.

If anyone can suggest anything I may have overlooked, or has experience of a similarly unresponsive Pro 4, I’d be delighted to hear from you. Thanks!

The LED should flash amber - not blue.  It should take about 15 seconds.

Thanks. The online help said to hold the button for about that length of time until a blue LED appeared, after which the button should be released. It said it would then flash amber. On this device though, I’ve pressed it (for at least 15 secs and more) and seen nothing light up at all to indicate a reset has taken place.

Yes - not sure if that is fully correct.   I hold it until I see amber, and that works for me.
