Arlo Pro Cameras

I have Arlo Pro (VMC-4030) cameras and the Arlo Base Station. If I upgrade to Arlo Pro 4 cameras will I still need my Arlo Base Station?

No you will not need the base as the Pro 4 cameras can connect direct to wifi. 

You could still choose to keep the base for your existing cameras and have the Pro 4 cameras all running off the same app.

Thanks!! Reading the Pro 4 cameras connected to Wi-Fi, I “assumed” I would not need the base station but, just wanted to make sure.
