I just cannot connect

So I have a single Pro4 camera. 
So far after 3.5 hours I’m lost for an answer. 
I’ve followed the steps and temporarily had it half connected. It said it was connect but it couldn’t actual connect with the camera to give a visual. I had to disconnect from the app and try reset the camera and start again. Now, bo matter what I do, it won’t connect to the Wi-Fi. I press sync / it chimes with the QR / I wait and wait but it just times out then cannot connect. I’ve gone though my WI-FI setting a seen that my phone was 5GHz (it must have been 2.4GHz when I first tried as it did connect). I’ve changed the setting so that it’s now 2.4GHz but nothing. 
I don’t know what else to do

Not sure what was wrong but I tried again in the morning and it finally worked. Thanks for your help

  • Make sure your WiFi network security is set to WPA2  (AES).  
  • If you have special characters in your network name or password, try removing them.
  • If you have a PC, then try browsing to my.arlo.com, and add the camera from the web interface.
