I having difficulty connecting my Arlo Pro 4 to the xfinitywifi hotspot. During the connecting process I get as far as hearing the sound, but it won't connect. I contacted Xfinity and they said, that the two WiFi bands have recently been combined into one with the Comcast gateway devices. Some devices like the Arlo Pro 4 get confused and don't know how to see / talk to combined bands. Since we cannot separate the bands on the Arlo in an effort to make it recognize the 2.4 band, it would be very useful if Arlo could do a firmware update to address this issue.
If anyone has found a way to connect the Arlo Pro 4 to the public and open xfinitywifi network, please advise.
Thanks

cammot,
When your mobile device is connected to the hotspot, is there any way to see which band it's using through the hotspot UI? Your mobile device needs to be connected using the 2.4Ghz band to successfully complete setup for Arlo Pro 4.

Have you tried using a PC browser (my.arlo.com) to add the camera to your account? Ideally connect the PC to the router with ethernet.
