Arlo Pro 4 can't update firmware

About a day ago I received a message that an update was available for my Arlo Pro 4. I tried to update to no avail. Now my camera won't work right. On my phone the camera shows a black screen with a red ! and I can't get the Firmware to install. Sometimes if I shut off my cell phone and then check the cameras for a brief period the camera is there and within seconds it disappears to the black screen. I have done everything possible and contacted tech support and have gotten nowhere. I can trigger the security camera and the event will show up in my feed but I can't watch the camera live on my cell phone. A few months back I had a similar problem with another camera that I could not get back on line and I bought a new one. These cameras are nothing more than junk and I wish I never bought them. I am thinking about buying another brand and junking all 5 cameras..........
