Arlo Pro 4 Wired camera options for non-heated garage living in Canada (-20C weather)

Hello, I am looking to purchase a Arlo security system for my home in Canada. I am needing to cover 2 locations at minimum, one being my front porch and the second being inside my non-heated garage. From what I have read online I should not be installing my cameras outside in the elements as the temperatures drop well below -15C in the winter months. 

Firstly, I was thinking to install a wireless camera inside my home facing outside to cover the front porch, or install a wired or wireless doorbell camera (if this would handle the weather). I hope this would be sufficient if anyone has done this or has a better idea please share. 

Secondly, I was thinking of installing a wired camera inside my non-heated garage to have a better chance at dealing with the cold temperatures. My garage is not attached to my house and therefore I will be needing roughly 80ft in cable to reach its installation spot. My question here is what options do I have in order to keep a camera online inside the garage and if a wired camera is the best option, do they have long enough cable to reach from my home or do I just need to install the camera to a power source within the garage? I do not have a preference on the make or model of camera, just want to be sure that this is a issue that Arlo can solve. 

Note - I would prefer to get the Arlo hub station so that I can figure out if I will stick with the subscription model or try and manage it internally, but I do not know what limitations I will have with the camera being installed in the garage. I also have a system in place to keep the wired cords out of the weather conditions between my house and garage.

The cameras and doorbells are spec'ed to run down to -20C, but they won't charge below 0C.

The AVD1001 is probably the best doorbell model for you, as it is powered from the chime transformer.  Though you would need to make sure you had a transformer within spec (16-24 VAC, 10 VA).

As far as the garage goes, if it has AC power, then you can just connect a charger to that (and run it to the camera).  I do that in my own unheated garage.  Since it is protected, you can use an indoor charger if you like.  Some posters have reported that the cameras will run at colder temps if the battery is removed.  So you could try that in the winter months.

Arlo's outdoor charger for the Pro 3/Pro 4/Ultra is fully integrated (cable is not detachable from the power adapter), and has a 25 foot cable.  The indoor chargers have an 8 foot cable.

The main challenge here is distance.  You do need to make sure the smarthub wifi can reach the camera in the garage (and also the doorbell).

Can you give us some idea on what the distance would be from the smarthub to the doorbell, and the distance from the smarthub to the garage camera?

Also, it'd be helpful to know the house construction, since that can affect the wifi signal strength through the outside walls.
