A subscription is required for activity zone detection.
Remove the activity zones from the camera settings if you don’t want to connect Ac power.

The 3 Arlo reps here don't work on weekends. Even if they did, instantaneous responses don't always occur. This is a user to user forum and may take some time to get a response.

Like to suggest the OP reads this thread: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Pro-2/Run-AC-power-to-use-activity-zones-with-no-subscription/m-p...
Activity Zones are processed either
a) in the cloud by Arlo when you pay for a subscription
b) on the device when connected to AC power without a subscription (battery power alone with no subscription not allowed as uses too much juice for hardware processing)
