One of my exterior cameras is triggering a video recording and the detection says AUDIO on the video clip. There is no motion in the recordings. There are dozens of 2k recordings on windy nights. I have turned the mic off.

The camera microphone switch in the camera settings is for audio privacy only. It will not prevent the camera from detecting audio for triggering.
To prevent the camera from triggering with audio you need to disable audio triggering in the camera rules for the mode your using.
I have similar issues on windy days so I just switch to a custom mode which has the audio triggering defeated on the outdoor cameras.
