When I plug in my fully charged Pro 3 to the solar panel, it disconnects the camera from my home system and forces me to re-pair the device.
Worked until two weeks ago, when the camera went dead or disconnected.

check cable , camera port for dirt / etc
if another panel, swap and test.

That sounds plausible. I'll either order a new panel or see if it's finally time to wire the thing. Thanks!*

I encountered the same problem. More precisely, I found that the camera will be disconnected when the solar panel is connected AND when there is sufficient light to activate the solar charging. When I examined my camera, I suspected it was damaged by water ingress due to the silicone cap on the ball & socket mount was loosen and let rain water in. The copper contacts for connecting the solar panel was oxidised with some greenish substance. Water might also have damage some of the circuits, I guessed. I could not but disconnect the solar panel and let it run on battery only. Hope it can still work for some time. Frankly, the camera is not really robustly designed against water ingress. I have another Arlo Essential Camera that were damaged due to water leaking into it.

Here is an update 2 weeks later after leaving the solar panel disconnected and letting the camera to dissipate the internal moisture completely. Great! Everything looks normal now and the camera can be charged by the solar panel without resetting/disconnecting itself. This time, I particularly checked the silicone cap is secured and re-tighten the screw at the back to ensure the waterproof capability is not compromised. Hope it can last.
