I have the Arlo Pro 3 system with 3 camera and a smart subscription.

I also have steel siding which limits the base station connectivity, it works for the cameras on the outside of the house but the signal is weak.

Can I add a 2nd base station somewhere outside house to strengthen the signal and add it to my account with out having to add another subscription for this base station also?

With or without a subscription, there never was a limit on the number of bases ( TMK ), they are free.

It is the only true way to expand coverage area

As @TomMac says, you can add more bases. But before you do so, investigate what it takes to make that happen.

Your new base station needs a "wired" connection back to the router. If you can't run a wire that far, then you can plug the router into a wifi extender, or a Powerline network.

What you cannot do is connect the new hub to the router, or the other hub, over wifi.

You may know this already, I am just trying to anticipate, and fed off, any possible grief and gnashing of teeth when you add the new hub.
