No idea how I fix this. It doesn’t matter if I’m connected to home network or or offsite I get a random gray replay of an recording and sometimes it actually works with is not that often.

What about the cloud recordings? Have you rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app? What phone/OS?

I get that at times, either gray or green. Really annoying when it's alerting for motion and 3/4 of the video isn't visible. I assumed it's because the video bandwidth is 'good' which apparently means 'barely able to connect'

I don't have a cloud account, that is why I got this unit because of the local storage. I have rebooted my phone many times because this has been an on gong issue for months. No I haven't re-installed the app.
