I'm thinking of getting the Arlo Pro 3 spotlight but wanted to know within the camera positioning screen can motion be detected within the entire screen? OR is there a shaded section at the top of the screen and this indicates that movement in that area will not be detected?

The newer cameras (Ultra, Pro 3, Pro 4, Essential) all have the shadowed area.
Not sure if there is no detection in that region - the screen text just says that optimal motion detection is in the unshadowed region. Most of my own cameras exclude that area with activity zones - andgenerally that area is pretty far away from the cameras, so I haven't really tested this.

The shaded area indicates the vertical limit of the motion sensor on the camera. Due to the large visible field of view the camera, motion detection sensitivity in this area may be lesser or inconsistent relative to the rest of the cameras field of view. You should consider this when positioning your camera for best performance.
