I have the magnetic charging cord. It says that it is charging but the percentage has gone down since I’ve connected it. Does it have to get to a certain percentage before it will charge?
Is this the outdoor charger? Or are you using an indoor one?

Oh I’m not sure. It said it was for the pro 3 floodlight. It is a gualcomm quick charge 3.0.
Arlo accessory or from a third party?

I’m understanding that it won’t charge the battery but if i keep it plugged in it will allow the floodlight and camera to keep working. Right? Also, do i need to plug it in to an outlet inside?

https://kb.arlo.com/000062384/How-do-I-charge-my-Arlo-Pro-3-Floodlight-Camera and page 10 of the camera manual ( https://www.arlo.com/en-us/images/documents/arlopro3/Arlo_Pro3_Floodlight_UM_US_3.pdf ) give somewhat different answers.
The KB says you can charge the floodlight battery, using the indoor magnetic charger, but the manual doesn't list that option.
It'd be good to get some clarity on this - perhaps @JamesC will chime in.

Arlo does not recommend using third party charging cables as the behavior of these cables may be different than Arlo branded solutions. When using the Arlo indoor charging cable with an Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight, the camera and light will be disabled while the camera charges. You'll see a message in the mobile app detailing this when plugging in the charging cable.
When using the Floodlight outdoors, it is recommend to use the Arlo Solar panel or outdoor charging cable, as they are both designed for use in outdoor conditions.
