VMB4000r3 Video storage is limited to one week

I installed a 8 gig memory stick in the back o f the base. The base is just saving 5 to 7 days. I thought that with the memory stick i could save more days. Am I missing a setting?

The VMB400 base you need to pull the USB stick and insert it in a computer to view, are you doing that? The Smart Hubs 4540 and 5000 can be viewed in the App. You're probably seeing the free 7 day cloud storage in the App for your Pro2 cameras you listed.  Also, the Min USB is 16GB.
