I want to run the system on my desk top personal computer  with Windows 10.  I do not want to use 

a mobile phone.  The documentation seems to indicate I can do this.  However, customer support cannot

seem to point me in the right direction to the appropriate software.

How do I get to the right software if, in fact, it actually exists

You can use the web page my.arlo.com on your desktop. You don't need special software.
