I have both Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo Pro 3 systems in my house.
I am so sorry I ever purchased the Arlo 3 system:
1.- The claim of longer battery life is totally FALSE (at least in my systems) indeed is much shorter than my Arlo Pro2 system
2.- 2 of the Cameras are not even working (battery not taking any charge at all)
3.- There is no application for Mac OS or Windows OS system.
4.- Neither Google Chrome or Internet Browser are able to play images from Arlo Pro 3 system, so interface is a joke
5.- Magnetic base is ridiculously expensive
6.- Arlo doorbell quality is not even close to NEST systems, very poor craftsmanship
After investing on Arlo Pro 2, Arlo Pro 3, Arlo Doorbell, I feel totally cheated by Arlo system. I will give it an A+ rating for marketing, F rating for performance, and F for battery life

I wasn't sure about answering this post since it appears your installation has an issue, not necessarily an Arlo-specific issue.
1) Battery life is very comparable with my older Pro and Pro 2 cameras as well as Ultra. Short life can be due to a variety of things including strength and quality. Some testing of camera and hub positioning may solve the issue.
2) Need to know a whole lot more about what you've tried and how other cameras are charging. I've had to wipe the connection a couple of times to ensure a good connection. The external charging station works well, too, for all your batteries.
3) As has always been the case, computers use a browser. Nothing new here.
4) Blame the browsers for not being able to play 2/4k video. As I understand it, it's a licensing issue and the authors don't want to pay the fees. There's an FAQ here on what devices/browsers can play the videos. It's not an Arlo issue unless you want to bitch about having 2/4k recordings.
5) I use inexpensive threaded mounts. The Wasserstein mounts are noticeably cheaper than the official Arlo mounts.
6) Yeah, ok, whatever you say.
