I have two cameras.
Battery will not charge in one of the cameras. I remove the battery and put it back in, and the blue light blinks slowly for about 5 seconds and goes blank. I then return the camera to the casing and connect the magnetic charge adapter. Blue light blinks rapidly for 10-15 seconds and goes blank. Check status on the app, no charging is taking place.
No issue (yet) with my second camera.

Cleaning the contacts did not work.
Solved the problem:
Removed the camera and battery from the casing.
Attached the charging adapter directly to the contacts on the camera - Used a rubber band.
Look at your app while adjusting the adapter and you'll see when proper contact is made and charging symbol appears.
It's a jerry rig, but it beats trying to communicate directly with Arlo.

Try wiping/cleaning the contacts on both the camera and charging cable. I've had to do that a few times.
