Arlo PRO 3 goes offline without battery

When removing battery and only running with magnetic outdoor charging cable my Arlo Pro 3 goes offline. Settings? It should work to operate without battery as I have understood.

There is no setting for it, and it should be working.

This is with the Arlo outdoor charger?

Yes I am using the original outdoor magnetic charging cable from Arlo (25 ft, 7,62m).

Try putting in the battery again, and see if the charger is actually charging the camera.

The cable works. The battery is charging when I leave the battery in the camera. Then the camera goes online again.

Got it.

It's not something I can test, since my outdoor charging cable failed a while back, and I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet.
