Hi,

I have 3 x Q and 6 x Pro 3. They are running off a VMB 4540r2 base station.

I have issues with them often not connecting and when I do try and watch them live, they take a long time to connect start. I’ve only had this problem since adding more cameras in the last 6 months.

They are well spread out around the property but all have reception. The same problem occurs with cameras located next to the base station (10ft away).

Would having a second base station improve the situation at all? If so, should I split the cameras equally between the 2 stations?

I meant to add - all units are up to date with the software.

The Q cameras have nothing to do with a base or hub. Are you having issues with those as well as your Pro 3s or just one type vs. the other?

What are the various WiFi strength icons for the cameras showing? What's the distance between your hub as well as the router to the cameras? Are there other wireless devices that could be interfering with the signals to the cameras?
