Base VMB4540
Cameras Arlo pro 3
Arlo Android app version 5.6.2_28829 (Updated 03.19.25)
Android phone Galaxy s20+ Android 13
I was trying to figure out If the LOCAL Tab in the android app actually does anything. I would think it would be to view local recordings, however in order to do that I must go to Devices-Base-storage settings to view my local recordings. Is this a known bug or is this just a place holder for future, or should it be working? attached are 2 screen shots of the error and the Feed screen

It was the VPN. I tried it on the wifi and switched over to cellular data and it worked on both. It's weird as I checked it on my husbands phone (Identical to mine except he does not have a VPN) and it did not work on his either. Will try his again.

That is what it is supposed to do. I use an iPhone myself, but some Android users have reported that it works intermittantly for them. So it is buggy at the moment.

So, business as usual with Arlo. This brand is fast becoming associated with the words 'poor' and 'inadequate'.
