After software update 3.5.8 the siren button is gone from iOS app.
Is this a bug that needs to be fixed with a following update or just bad redesign?
Any help appreciated. Tried reinstalling the app with no result

I've not been able to replicate any issues with the siren button on iOS.

 

Are you able to see the red shield icon in the top right of the app? For more information on the siren, take  look here: How do I turn the siren on my Arlo camera on or off?

Hi James, thanx for the reply.

Like you mentioned, Before the update I was able to activate the siren by clicking on the red shield icon on the top right of the app. Right after the update to 3.5.8 the icon isn’t visible anymore. It just disappeared. I attached a screen capture of how the app is rendered right now and as you can see, the siren icon just isn’t there anymore.
I’m using the iOS version of the app with an iPhone 12 Pro Max running the latest iOS version which currently is iOS 15.0.2

I believe it is an app bug, but the siren button is one of the main features we use with the arlo floodlight camera. If you can report it to the app developers would be great.

A few things to try:

 

1. In the app, go to Settings > Profile > Log out, then log back in.
2. Force close the app and re-open
3. Log in via another device, then log in on the iPhone again

 

If one of these steps resolves the issue, could you let us know?

Tríed the suggested steps. Even turned off the iPhone and back on again, but the alarm button still won’t show

I’m having the same issue and tried your suggested steps, the issue remains and still cannot see the siren button.

Arlo App v. 3.5.8.

Kindly reply on how to tackle this issue.

Arlo iOS app 3.5.10 is now available from the app store. Please download the new version and test again to see if you still experience the same behavior.
