I'm using Pro3 with hubs and already set the active zone...But I found the arlo Pro 3 has not notify me and make a record when some one is get into the active zone....I'm very disappointed. I had already set 100% sensitive. Anyone know how to improve? Thanks!

1) Do you have a subscription for the camera?

2) If not, is the camera using AC power?

3) Are you setting motion sensitivity in your modes and rules? The motion test doesn't save.

Yes! I have join the subscription.

Connected the solar panel

Set 100% sensitive and set active zone.

I suggest first double-checking that you can make a manual recording while livestreaming.  If you have 2K livestreaming enabled, then you'll need to temporarily disable it to make that test.

Then I suggest removing the activity zone, and see if you get any motion recordings.

Note the range of the passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor is only about 20-25 feet, so people won't be detected reliably if the zone is further away than that.  Also, the camera is more sensitive at the bottom of the field of view (and is also more sensitive to motion across the field of view than it is to motion directly towards the camera)

My, non subscription,  Arlo Pro 3 system worked great until I set up a custom mode, a schedule and  Geotracking.  Once I connected the Geotracking using the custom mode and schedule, the cameras on the custom mode stopped recording. I had to reset cameras back to factory default.  Retried same geotracking and again I had to rest cameras to factory settings.

Sadly, my observations lead me to believe that there is a software problem.

Are you saying that simply disabling geofencing didn't resolve it?  Or is that something you didn't try?

There were some issues with custom modes a while back, but I think they were all resolved.

Even after turning Geotracking mode off, the camera that I had programmed in a  custom Mode, would alert me of activity however it would not record any video.  The other cameras, all 4 of them, that were not part of the custom Mode I set up, alerted me of activity and recorded the videos. Only the camera in custom Mode did not record eventhough Geotracking was turned off.  So I decided to delete the custom mode but the problem did not clear up.  A factory reset for that one camera solved the problem.

After the factory reset, I tried the Geotracking, schedule  and custom Mode again but the same thing happened where the one camera failed to record. So unfortunately I cannot use Geotracking.

I have no Arlo subscription but I don't believe that is the issue.

I think the motion detect is too weak… I’m disappointed with the arlo….

sometimes I get into the driveway still need to wait 10 sec. for the arlo pro 3 light up…..

The doorbell of sensor is better than arlo pro 3….

I don’t know any suggest to make the cam sensitive more… 😞

"Weak" motion detection likely isn't the problem although if the subject is at the outer range of the PIR sensors (25 feet for people) there could be inconsistent detection. This would be true of any system that uses PIR sensors, such as outdoor motion-activated lights.

You can try swapping cameras around if you have more than 1 to see if it's the camera or location. You can also temporarily bring the camera closer to your router or hub to see if the issue clears up.
