Access to library is superslow after latest ios update (16 Aug 2020)

The ios app update on 16 Aug 2020 added the message: "Cloud storage keeps all your clips secure - activate Arlo Smart Subscription..." which displays for 25 seconds (!!!) in the library before it is possible to access the library in the app.

 

Before the 16 Aug update it took a couple of seconds to download the triggered movie file (from SD) and I could speak to the person that might be on my property. Now the function is useless as it takes close to 30 seconds before you can watch what has triggered my cameras.

 

Of course Arlo wants to sell subscriptions, but I should not be forced into this when I had a perfectly working system before the upgrade. Can someone please advise how this "welcome message" can be removed/skipped?

I’m experiencing the same issue after Update to version 2.19. I’ve logged off & back on. Same issue. Devices are very slow to show in display. Library is a drag!

Same here! I tried deleting the App and re-installed. Improved slightly.
