Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Audio Volume

Outbound audio volume directly under Floodlight is barely audible- so at around 5' distance.  Audio maxed out in settings for Floodlight and iPhone.  This destroys key use case-- giving burglars the impression that there's someone home or at least actively monitoring.   Anyone have acceptable outbound volume from this device?
