Arlo 3 flood light will not work with magnetic charger attached

I have just purchased a magnetic charger cable  to save me having to climb 5m everytime my floodlight needs recharging. When connected it says camera functions are disabled as it is charging!!! Can someone please advise.

Your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight camera and light are inactive while the USB Charging Cable or Indoor Magnetic Charging Cable are plugged in. This is because these charging cables are meant for indoor charging only.

To use the floodlight, record audio, and record video while your camera charges, you must use an Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable or Arlo Solar Panel.
