I purchased a fourth Arlo Pro 2 camera.  I connected it to my base station and it works fine in real time and detects motion.  However, it will not record video like the other three do.  I went to the mode page, but "Record Video" button is grayed out.  What do I do?

What arlo app are you using, have you tried the pc browser.
Can you take a screenshot and post.

I was on the PC browser.  When I go to Mode and click on this camera, I get the following screen.  However, the option for Record Video is grayed out and it won't let me check it.  I do not subscribe to an Arlo Secure plan, but the free plan is supposed to support 5 cameras, and I have only 4.  Thanks.

 

Set rules to customize how cameras should detect, record, and send alerts to yourself and others.

Do you get the same issue if you use the arlo mobile app.
If so it would seem that the arlo account setup has a flaw in it. Suggest contacting a moderator on the forum to have them investigate further.

Are you certain you are seeing this with a Pro 2 camera?  Not a Pro 3 or Pro 4 (which require a subscription to get cloud recording)?
