I do not have a subscription on my camera in a place where it catches every vehicle that goes past. I do not want it to video vehicles. If I subscribe can I stop it from videoing vehicles?

When using smart notifications the cameras still record as it needs to upload to the cloud to decide if it will notify you.

You can set up activity zone(s) to exclude the street. That might not prevent all vehicles from being recorded, but it should stop most of them.
Removing the street from the camera field of view is the other option of course (not requiring a subscription).
