I’m wondering why my arlo pro 2 cameras won’t hold charge. First one went down, now the second isn’t charging either.
Thank you.

Can you detail further what your experiencing, is the issue that the camera battery is dead and will not charge or that the camera battery is not lasting as long as it normally should?

When I plug it in, it looks as though it’s charging and once I unplug it dies.
Then there are times it will be on charger and won’t charge at all.
I have a friend that has the same anrlo(it’s older than mine) and his is fine. I feel like something is wrong with the batteries. I have taken them out and done a reset as well.
Nothing helps.

The arlo pro/2 cameras require a QC type charger because of the battery being 7.2vdc. The generic 5vdc chargers can run the camera but will not charge the batteries.
The camera will not let you charge a dead battery so if your battery is completely flat you could try the article below.
