Hi,

 

I have a couple of cameras setup in my garage for our new puppy, however I captured footage early this morning setoff (7-8) times 'motion detected' with one of the cameras. Basically the other camera was emitting a bright light for 2-3 seconds. Why is that camera doing this. Only happens in the dark? See link below:

The bright light you see is the other camera's IR light coming on.... it may have been right at the level of light where it would turn off ( like in day ) so it flashed

I've also seen this at night from various Pro series cameras that my Q camera catches. It's almost like a signal from the server sets it off with 1 to 3 brief flashes. No idea why, it just does.  Doesn't happen often.

Thanks. So how can I collaborate this particular camera so the IR light doesn’t come on in the middle of the night?

Not having them point at each other may help but you may need to just use trial and error.
