VMB4000 and cameras

There were existing Arlo cameras in a house I purchased. I bought a new base station (VMB4000) to connect the cameras. Would the previous owner be able to access the cameras through the app on his phone, or does buying a new base station on a new WiFi network prevent this ? I was thinking since the cameras are assigned by base station, the previous owner would not have access with a new base station Thanks.

Once the cameras are in your account, the previous owner will not be able to access them.
